The Northern Cardinal was originally found in the Southeastern United States, but in recent decades that have been expanding northwards. Now you may see them as far north as Canada! This northern expansion may be thanks to the Northern Cardinal being able to find consistent food during the winter months in bird feeders. 😄🐤
